Questions from the Fans
During the season, we receive an incredible number of comments and questions from Team Chaos fans from around the world. This week, we decided to respond to a few of the most often-asked questions.
When will Lou Difulvio get back on the ice?
After a long and storied career with the Chaos, rumors abound that Difulvio will hang up the skates for good this summer. Taking a page from Bret Favre, Difulvio is taking his time in making a decision, but may make an announcement within the next few weeks. Sportswriters, coaches, players, and uninterested bystanders throughout the league have weighed in on the question. Typical comments included: “He’s not getting any younger.” “What more can he accomplish?” and “I thought he retired last year.” ESPN’s Barry Melrose spoke the most eloquently on the subject. “In my opinion, he’s one of the toughest defensemen to ever lace up the skates. His rookie year in 1955 was something to see. What? Lou Difulvio? Who the heck is that? I was talking about Lou Fontinato.”
How do the players stay in such amazing shape during the off-season?
Not surprisingly, Team Chaos takes off-season conditioning very seriously. The training staff has developed a truly cutting edge program for the players to follow. The team recently replaced all of the office chairs at team headquarters with Ab Loungers. In addition, the team is bringing in a variety of renowned fitness experts to hold fitness classes in the office gym this summer. First up will be Richard Simmons with an updated version of his classic “Sweatin’ to the Oldies” aerobics routine. Jon “Ringo” Ringhofer seems to be especially excited about the class and has been seen wearing his 1980’s leg warmers to the office ever since the class was announced.
Are there any exciting prospects to keep an eye on for next season?
Rookies Will Charland and Lyric Black are two of the team’s top-rated prospects and both have a good chance to make the team next season. In addition, two long shot prospects to watch are Shane Graper and Vince Chavez. Each is said to be taking beginning skating lessons, but with their world class athletic ability, they could be ready to contribute next season.
Where can I get tickets to watch the Team Chaos Softball team this summer?
The excitement around Team Chaos Softball has exploded in the last few weeks. Requests for tickets have been coming in to team headquarters in incredible numbers. The league is expected to announce the season schedule in the next two weeks. With fans already camping out at the box office, tickets are expected to disappear within minutes. The team is contacting a number of TV networks in hopes of signing a deal to televise Team Chaos Softball games, so all of the fans will be able to follow every pitch this season. While none of the bigger networks has shown any interest yet, early conversations with a local cable access channel in Osnabrock, North Dakota have been very positive.
