Team Chaos Prepares to Take the Field

For the past few weeks, the new Team Chaos Softball Team has been holding regular nightly practices in preparation for next week’s season opener. These practices have been closed to the media, as the team uses them to work out the kinks of what is certain to be a winning formula.

“Just like every team, we’ve had some early challenges,” said Head Coach, Kacy Manning. “We came into spring training with just a few minor issues to iron out. Like who would play each position, settling on a regular lineup, and teaching a few of our players the finer points of the game. All of our players have virtually unlimited potential. All they need to do to bring out their talents is learn how to catch…and throw…and hit. Other than that, the sky’s the limit.

The team is pulling out all the stops to ensure that every player reaches their full potential this season. Recognizing that this will be the first softball season for this group of players, management has been bringing in a variety of recognized experts to address the team and provide advanced training on some key softball skills. Speakers have included legendary sports figures hall-of-famer Bob Uecker, the actor who played the head coach in the movie Major League, and former pitching phenom Syd Finch.

Recent session topics have included “Lefty or Righty – Which One are You?” “Covering All the Bases – 1-2-3-Home!” and “Intro to Hitting – How to Hold a Bat.” Chaos players are obviously taking this very seriously, as many have been seen writing copious notes during each training session.

While no one is sure how the team will adjust to this new sport, one thing is certain. Loyal Team Chaos fans from around the world are excited to see the team kick off the season, as they take on the Band of Misfits next Thursday under the lights at historic Christopher Fields in Westminster, CO. The game will not be televised in all areas (currently it is being blacked out throughout all of North America), so be sure to tune into your weekly Affiliate Newsletter next Friday for a complete game recap!
